Amb.Ekramy El Zaghat Signs MOU with Somali Minister to Launch Girls Code Program, Advancing Gender Equality and ICT Opportunities
During the official visit of World Fund for Development and Planning - WFDP to Somalia, H.E. Amb. Ekramy El Zaghat , WFDP President, signed with H.E. Hon Khadija Mohamed Diriye, Minister of Somalia's Ministry of Women & Human Rights Development the MOU for Somalia's participation in Girls Code Program, which Seeks to promote the Sustainable Development Goals of their nation, especially SDG 5 , which is to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls through creating a global environment that empowers and encourages girls and young women to consider studies and careers in the growing field of information and communication technologies.
